Once installation is booked:

A Support agent contact the pharmacy to complete the install
The installation invoice will be issued following setup

Which package should I choose and what will it cost?

DDBook Essentials – AU $240 per year (ex GST)

Select this if your pharmacy has one drug safe, no ODT program, and does not offer staged supply.

DDBook Premium – AU $350 per year (ex GST)

Select this if your pharmacy has one or more of the following: Up to 3 drug safes, an ODT program, and/or offers staged supply. Includes MethDA Cloud with 1,200 dose credits per annum (sufficient for 120 LAIB patients on monthly dosing).

DDBook Unlimited – AU $1440 per year (ex GST)

Select this if your pharmacy has a large ODT program with more than 28 patients on oral/sublingual dosing.

In addition to the plan price, a one-off $30+GST setup fee will be invoiced after installation

I don't operate a pharmacy but require a controlled drug register (e.g. skin clinic or psychiatry clinic) which package should I choose?

DDBook Essentials if you have only one drug register, DDBook Premium if you store controlled medicines in multiple locations in your clinic.

When filling out the form, select "My dispense system is not listed."

This is because dispense integrations are specifically for community pharmacies and are not required for clinical settings.

I am migrating from another provider, What data will be migrated?

When migrating from your current provider, Modeus will import your current controlled drug stock balances only at the time of installation. To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend:

Completing a full database backup in your current provider's system.
Exporting a register report to keep for your permanent records.

Data Not Included in Migration

The following data is not imported and must be set up in Modeus after go-live:

Patient profiles
ODT / Pharmacotherapy scripts
Stage supply patient records
Supplier records (where “Receive from Supplier” is not integrated)

Note: Most drug lines will be imported automatically. Any custom drug lines that cannot be matched to the Modeus database will need to be entered manually.

Important Considerations

Historical transaction data is not transferred as part of the migration and will not appear in Modeus. This approach ensures regulatory accuracy and avoids transferring legacy data that may be incomplete or inconsistent.

If you rely heavily on ODT or pharmacotherapy workflows, please ensure adequate staff time is allocated after go-live and book your setup accordingly.

I currently use MethDA Desktop, Can I upgrade?

The following MethDA Desktop features are currently in development for MethDA Cloud:

Pre-prepare doses (Advanced dosing)
Multiple label printers
Mechanical Pump Integration

We will use any remaining credit from your existing license towards your new license on the day of conversion

Does the Cloud version integrate with all the popular dispense software programmes?

Yes, we integrate with all the major dispense systems

Do I have to choose which computer to install DDBook Cloud on?

DDBook Cloud is cloud-based and will be available on all computers that have internet access.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Don't panic, when the internet comes back up, your entries from your Dispense software will be waiting for you to approve

My pharmacy is in New Zealand. How do I sign up?
